Cleaning your Bloody Mat is easy!  The steps below walk you through how to remove water stains from the mat.

To minimize dry water stains on the mat:

1) Remove any standing water after each use.   Do not let any residual water remain on the mat after using it.  Doing so will allow hard water minerals to leave staining once the mat is dry.

2) After each use, use a soft towel to wipe away any remaining water.   (Do not use paper towels)

3) After wiping off any standing water, use a damp soft towel to gently wipe across the mat in the area where is was exposed to water.  Use long soft stokes.  

4) Repeat step 3 but this time apply more pressure in the exact area where the mat was activated by water.  By applying more pressure, you are trying to wipe off any remaining trace minerals from the mat's surface.  

5) Ensure all remaining surface water as been removed from the mat.  The mat should be a little damp from cleaning with the soft towel

6) Hang the mat to dry over a chair or towel rack.  Do not use again until the mat is fully dry.

Note: If water staining is still present after completing the above steps, trying repeating step 4 above and apply even more pressure in your cleaning stroke.

DO NOT: Put the mat in the dishwasher, washing machine, or dryer.
